Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jack Moon. Jack was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Kristo Blanc.
Jack, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My name is JACK MOON and I’m 25 years old. I grew up playing sports but always had an interest for music. My interest in music lead to me developing an ear for beats and sound. Unfortunate situations happened in my life that led to one of my best friends and creator Charlie McFly to lose his life. He always believed in my artistry, far before I even touched a microphone. We would always freestyle rap together and he continued to push me to talk about my experiences thru music. When Charlie passed, I felt the uncontrollable itch to really pursue this music shit. My momma and Charlie are the reasons I invested into my music career and I’ve said that since I started.
Please talk to us about your creative work and career. What should we know?
My musical direction is a fuse of lo-fi, experimental and alternative hip hop. My sound is unique and I will say I sound like nobody. You can catch me on all streaming platforms under “JACK MOON” and my latest music video “Whole Tings” on my Youtube. You can almost bet I’ll have some NFT’s that hold certain songs and content that won’t be ever released to the public. My intention with music is to set myself apart and shake up the industry with a new approach to creativity.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Kristo Blanc and Kristo Blanc LLC/Kobra Aura Music and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Kristo Blanc LLC/Kobra Aura Music.
Sto is my dawg, man. He’s been a solid influence and super motivated since the day we first linked up. As an artist developer/co-manager, he’s put me into better situations to further my career. Whether it be staying consistent with my content strategy, helping me explore new sounds or staying connected with my core fan base. Kristo is for the team. I’ve known him longer than the year we’ve been working together but Sto really just wants everything to be at the highest level it can possibly be. He’ll call me and chat it up for hours on end just to insure everything about our communication and community is solid. My favorite memory would be either our “Whole Tings” video shoot or the night him and I recorded back to back studio sessions on a few of our unreleased records.
