Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie deMontmollin.
Hi Jackie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For most of my career, I lived a full and outwardly successful life—but I put everything else first, especially my career. From the outside, everything looked great. I was in arts leadership, I was working at a high level in my field. Inside, my body was quietly breaking down. There wasn’t a dramatic breaking point for my health. Instead, it was a slow shift—clothes not fitting the way I wanted them to, chronic inflammation, even joint pain, and the realization that pushing harder wasn’t working. Exercise wasn’t something I enjoyed anymore —it actually hurt. I remember struggling to get my rings off some days because of inflammation and thinking, this must be what aging does; but it wasn’t, this was solvable. And my program was my solution. In six months on my program, my body composition and my wellness were transformed. After years of struggle.
Engaging in a process developed by a board certified critical care physician, along with a team of nutritionists, psychologists, and experts, and with the help of my certified coach, I stopped chasing willpower and quick fixes and started asking a different question: How do I support my body so it can heal? Rather than eating with a restrictive “diet” mentality, and exercising harder, I learned to focus on restoring my metabolism—stabilizing blood sugar, fueling my body with nutrient dense fuel, burning fat, reducing inflammation, preserving lean muscle, and building sustainable habits. Now I’m a certified health coach, and I pay that forward, and my team has helped over 1000 people find wellness. I can’t think of a more rewarding profession!
Meaningful change rarely happens in isolation. Coaching provides accountability, education, and support—especially when mindset challenges or old habits surface. Clinical studies show that people who follow our program lose 14 times more fat, while retaining 98% of their lean muscle mass. A big part of that are the blueprints we follow, which include great coaching to develop a healthier lifestyle. Coaching isn’t a luxury—it’s a catalyst. And we get results. An example of a conversation with a client I had yesterday, he shared, “I lost ten pounds in almost a decade of working out and trying to eat right. I finally signed up with Inspired Health and in 11 months I burned 90 lbs of fat and I know how to keep it off, because the education is so solid. I have shifted my identity!” Another client shared yesteday that she was elated that her doctor took her off her medications, because her A1C was normal. I could go on and on with stories like this! We also have many clients who aren’t in an extreme situation yet, who reverse their unhealthy habits before it becomes dangerous, and will avoid the issues that come from excess visceral fat, and unhealthy habits.
As my health was restored, I realized this journey was bigger than me. That’s when I started paying it forward, learning all I could. Becoming a Certified Health Coach, was great, and as my client base grew, I realized I needed a team. Today I have a team of amazing coaches who help people, using a proven blueprint for success. We work with high-achieving adults who feel exhausted in their bodies, and we empower them to reverse that! My message is simple: your wellness is your power. Health doesn’t require perfection; it requires alignment. And we are here to meet you where you are, and support you.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of my biggest mindset struggles—both in sustaining my health and building my business—was learning that reaching a goal is not the same thing as transforming your identity. I was very good at achieving outcomes. I knew how to work hard, meet expectations, and push through. That mindset had served me well professionally, but it didn’t create lasting health. I could follow a plan, hit a target, or complete a phase—but sustaining it required something deeper.
The real work was shifting from seeing health as something I did to someone I am. That identity change doesn’t happen on a scale. It happens quietly, through daily choices, internal conversations, and moments no one else sees. It’s head and heart work—often invisible, rarely celebrated.
Another struggle was letting go of the belief that effort equals worth. When progress slowed, my instinct was to do more. But sustainability required something different: reflection, alignment, and trust. I had to learn that support isn’t weakness, and that consistency—not intensity—is what creates lasting change.
Consistency compounds. Small, aligned actions repeated daily create exponential results over time, in both health and business. I learned to rely on habit stacking—anchoring new behaviors to existing routines—rather than waiting for motivation. When habits are embedded into daily life, they become automatic, not exhausting.
The transformation people see on the outside is simply the physical manifestation of the inner work. The energy, confidence, and strength didn’t come first—they followed the mindset shift. My body reflected what my mind and heart had already accepted as true.
Today, I understand that you don’t sustain results by chasing goals. You sustain them by becoming the kind of person for whom those results are normal. When health becomes part of your identity, it stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like alignment—and that shift changes everything.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business exists to help people restore health so they can live fully, with sustained energy, clarity, and strength. My team specializes in working with people who are ready for solutions—many find moments when they feel exhausted, inflamed, or disconnected from their bodies. Many arrive with some weight they want to shed, some with pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic inflammation, or frustration that their body composition isn’t changing even though they exercise consistently. And many are killing themselves in the gym, but not seeing the body compoaition they want to achieve. Nutrition—not effort—is often the missing link.
Our approach centers on the Habits of Health as a whole-person framework. We focus on stabilizing blood sugar, reducing inflammation, burning fat, preserving lean muscle, and building daily habits that fit real life. The deeper work is identity-level change—moving from doing health to being healthy. When health becomes part of who someone is, consistency compounds and progress becomes sustainable through simple habit stacking.
Coaching & education around building a lifestyle of wellness is foundational to everything we do. Clinical studies show that individuals who follow our program with a coach lose 17 times more fat than those without coaching, while retaining 98% of their lean muscle mass. Coaching provides structure, education, accountability, and mindset support that allows people to stay aligned long after the initial momentum fades.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the ripple effect. Our clients don’t just change physically—they show up with more energy for their relationships, greater presence in their work, and the confidence to prioritize their own health without guilt. That shift creates a generational impact within families and a more empowered way of engaging with life.
What I want readers to know is this: lasting health isn’t about perfection. It’s about lifestyle— alignment, support, community, and habits that work in the world we actually live in.
To see if we are a fit for your needs, it starts with a simple 20 minute health assessment. We ask targeted questions, listen closely, and then recommend a plan and protocol that is suited to you.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I embrace intentional risk. For me, risk has never been about impulse—it’s about alignment.
One of the bigger risks I’ve taken was stepping away from a long, established career in arts leadership to build a health and wellness business. On paper, it didn’t make sense. I had credibility, stability, and a clear professional identity. Transitioning from that meant starting over in many ways—learning a new industry, building a new brand, and trusting that the skills I’d spent decades developing would translate.
What made that risk possible was clarity of purpose. I was moving toward impact. I had experienced firsthand how restoring health changes everything—energy, relationships, leadership capacity—and I knew that helping others do the same was important work. And I knew others needed this, even if they didn’t know it yet.
Risk also shows up in quieter ways. Choosing to invest in your own health can feel like a risk. Choosing consistency over comfort can feel like a risk. Choosing to be coached—rather than trying to do everything alone—can feel like a risk. These decisions require vulnerability and trust.
My approach to risk is grounded in three questions:
Is this aligned with my values?
Does this move me closer to the life and impact I want to have?
Am I willing to do the unseen work required to sustain it?
If the answer is yes, then the risk is less about fear and all about growth.
In both business and health, I’ve learned that the greatest risk is staying in a place that no longer fits who you’re becoming. Growth always requires a willingness to step into the unknown—but when that step is grounded in purpose, integrity, and preparation, risk becomes a powerful catalyst rather than a gamble.
That’s the lens through which I make decisions, and it’s one I encourage my clients to adopt as well—because the most meaningful transformations always require a brave first step.
