Meet Jaclyn Wolf

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaclyn Wolf.

Jaclyn, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a hard-working mom of four, have a passion for children with special needs, and love what I do as a REALTOR! I was born in Dallas and raised mostly in Mesquite, TX. I have lived in other areas as well, including Garland, Richardson, Forney, Terrell, and currently live in Crandall TX. I was a stay at home mom for a few years taking care of my sons and my youngest and only daughter. Both sons have A.D.H.D. and one with high functioning autism. I needed to get back to work and was told by many people that Real Estate would fit me well.

So I signed up! Once I received my licensed, I originally worked on Apartment Locating and was head of a team with United Real Estate. After a year and with Covid, I decided to go into the Residential areas of Real Estate. I have a strong Marketing presence and network. I then joined an amazing team within my brokerage, Moomaw Realty Group. We are now Top Producers every month! I am very busy with mom duties, after-school activities, and finally, work. I do it all for my family and for my clients. I love my job and the fact I can provide for my family.

Has it been a smooth road?
My family and I have had our struggles. Being a stay at home mom for a few years was wonderful but not exactly great financially. My husband worked hard all the time seven days a week, but one income for a family of six still has it’s down pointing. We did not live in the nicest houses or apartments and just barely getting by. Daycare can be expensive so there wasn’t always the option for me to work too. My husband and I had to figure something out. I was approached with an opportunity to be an assistant to another REALTOR before I received my license. This helped me earn some money to put our kids in daycare but still not enough to really be debt-free. I decided to get my license to become my own REALTOR. Once I did that, I was still not out of the woods. Once you are new in real estate, there are so many fees to get started, how to be self-employed and budget.

Finally, I closed a few of my first transactions, thanks to United Real Estate’s help. I can say that I fell in love and was so thankful to United Real Estate’s support. A year later, I met Bill Moomaw and it has honestly been a blessing as well. Bill Moomaw hired me on as a buyer’s agent but after proving myself as a great listing agent and with my marketing expertise. I am proud to be the Listing Agent of Moomaw Realty Group. I am now able to pay bills ahead of time and take care of my family and kids even during Covid. If you are interested in becoming an agent and want to know more. I would love for you to reach out to me and I can get you on the right track. Trust me when I say I wouldn’t be with any other Broker than United Real Estate.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I have a passionate for helping people. I am determined to provide the best service for all my clients. I like simplifying the process and making it hassle-free. Going through a real estate transaction can be very stressful and I like to be hands-on every step of the way. Time is of the essence, so my marketing team and I will provide strong communication and consistently follow up even after the sale. I care about my clients and I want what’s best for them. I always make sure I have a different list of lenders, home inspectors, insurance & title companies that I trust. I see myself as the Wolf of Real Estate, and I want to be the Wolf on your side of negotiations, especially the tough ones. This is my passion and that is why I do it.

Along with being a REALTOR, I am also a social media manager. I have dabbled in Graphic/Web Design as well for other small businesses. I have listed high dollar clients homes and had their home under contract in 12 days. My knowledge for marketing and networking comes along way when it comes to selling a client’s home. Plus being on the team of Moomaw Realty Group gives my clients full attention and making them feel special. I am known as “The Wolf” everywhere. Maybe it is my go-getter attitude or the drive I have. Maybe I have seen Wolf of Wall Street too many times lol.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I have never seen the market so busy and booming as it is right now. I am still working the side of Apartment Locating, which not many people know is a FREE service to clients. It is the apartments that pay us to help fill their buildings. It has a completely different process as residential. I always say, “It is a completely different world of real estate.” I know it very well and even offer a service to my fellow agents with United Real Estate. To help educate them in the steps of that world.

Residential, I would say is so busy and the best time to sell and buy. Mortgage rates are really low right now making the inventory of houses for sale low. My team and I are working hard to pull the inventory back up! Houses are selling fast and because of this, I help make sure my clients are pre-approved and ready to put in an offer. You never know when your at showings if you will find your dream home or not. If you do, and you are not prepared beforehand then someone might still it in the mean time. I rather be overprepared than getting my client’s hopes up or not being honest with them.
