Jacqueline, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Upon graduating from college, I was blessed with a job as a corporate event planner. Through this experience, I was able to craft unique attention to detail and timeline perfection. It was my desire to take these skills learned and apply them to all events – weddings, social parties, non-profits, and corporate functions. Jacqueline Events & Design was formed in 2010 with that in mind. Through hard work and with the focus on relationships, Jacqueline Events has grown leaps and bounds. We have developed a reputation focused on listening to the client and delivering a personalized experience.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our current business challenge is one that many have heard of – COVID! We are learning to adapt to a new event style and I would say we are excelling at it. Keeping up to date on the ever changing regulations is vital. From custom social distance stickers to fancy hand sanitizers – we have thought of it!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Looking back over ten years, I would say that I wish I wasn’t as timid at the beginning. It is the relationships I have built over the years that has allowed me to grow personally and as a company. I wouldn’t be afraid to reach out and make those calls if I could do it all over!
