Meet Jacquelyn Pizzini of Mansfield,Tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacquelyn Pizzini.

Hi Jacquelyn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started with a hammer and a nail. My mom was trying to nail these boards together and I walked in and asked what are you doing? She tells me I want to build this sign and sell it so I can help this girl go to Africa on a mission trip. She tells me how she doesn’t have the money to give her but she could make the money. I took the hammer and helped her build the sign and I fell in love with building and the mission to help people by what we make with our hands and so it began. I took my savings and started this business where you can build and help all as one. My mom has been with me through this journey every step of the way. Through the last decade of my business we have had to pivot many times from signs to furniture to custom cabinets and remodeling. Having to figure out the pandemic and pivot again to making a lot of built-in offices since people had to come home to work. We don’t just build cabinets we want to know your pain points to make them go away in the home. Have the cabinets work for you and your family to make everyday more functional and easy. Bring value and beauty to the space. Cabinets are much more than a box and a shelf you can make them work for you to make your life easier so you can have more time with the family and hide all the things you have and have the beauty. Now we do it all from whole house new construction, older home remodeling rooms and commercial.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur at 25 I did not know all the ins and out of what that means by wearing all the hats. I’m not just the builder I also had to figure how to grow the business, create client relationships, how to monetize. From signs to furniture was the first pivot noticing signs was slowing down in my business so I learned how to build furniture. I am self taught and I learned ins and out of woods and machines to make it happen.. After awhile of that right before the pandemic I started getting into remodeling and cabinets. Which I had no idea the pandemic was coming. Blessing in disguise that I was already learning and leaning into the cabinet remodel world. So when the pandemic hit and everyone had to go home to work I pivot my business to really doing built-in offices so they had somewhere to work. Wanted to create a space in a time that was crazy for everyone a sense of calm and value to their homes. That made me fall in love with how can I make every space in the home valuable not only in return in your investment, but also valuable to your family in the functionality. Both of those concepts I loved and I wanted to create not just a cabinet not just a room but a stunning well functioning didn’t miss an opportunity of a space. Communication is key with your clients and I over communicate the more you know about the family the more you can help.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
There are many custom cabinet builders, but what I think sets me apart is not only the quality in the wood the quality in the finishes and in the details of the finished product. It’s the communication of the clients of figuring out the pain points of what they didn’t like in Home previous or the current home knowing their design preference and making the home flow and never wasting a space in the home to help their lives function better. I wanna create your forever home or to make you fall back in love with your home because we can rework any space. You can create and build anything. To make it work for your family, and not lack on the beauty of the design and the value, it can bring to your home.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
When I was eight years old, I used to live on a golf course. The golfers would hit their balls in our backyard, and I would clean them up and sell them back to them. I also would sell lemonade and cookies with it, and they taught me which balls I could sell them back for more money because they were pro V1 golf balls. I also would go rake leaves and do $10 a bag. At a young age I had an entrepreneur mind, always wanting to create a way to make money and I thought it was fascinating.

Pricing:

  • Depends on the size of the room, which woods you would like to use and the details you would like me to crate and then we can figure out a quote from them.
