Today we’d like to introduce you to Jake Sanchez.
Jake, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started to like all the other staff here at Resurgence Wellness. My very first job was as a nursing assistant. I progressed through the nursing program at Texas Christian University and obtained multiple jobs over the course of several years such as ICU, Rapid Response, Emergency Room, and Surgery. Over those years, I took and passed every nursing certification exam there was, but wanted to expand my reach to help others.
In other words, be a servant to extend “his” healing hands upon others. Therefore, I went back to school full time to pursue my degree as a nurse practitioner while also working full time as a management nurse. Finally, I passed two board certification tests as a nurse practitioner. From there, I was blessed to meet more talented nurses, and we teamed up to create a center that provides care to all walks of life.
Along with the staff, the loyalty of previous patients, the belief from other businesses and community members Resurgence Wellness was created. Without everyone’s help, expertise, hard work, and dedication, Resurgence would be nowhere near where it is now. We started off by offering only a few services like IV vitamin drips, but after my co-workers and I researched and learned the field of anti-aging we quickly broadened our practice.
We now have highly-sought-after experts at Resurgence in the field for cutting-edge anti-aging treatment approaches such as stem cells, Platelet Rich Plasma Injections, Medical Weight loss, Intravenous “fountain of youth” infusions, hormonal balance, sexual wellness, and family medicine.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Here at Resurgence, we have experienced the same struggles as any new start-up small business. With a strong belief in our product, our skills, and our knowledge I feel like we are successfully breaking through the struggles.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Resurgence Wellness story. Tell us more about the business.
Our business is a wellness clinic where we practice medicine and specialize in anti-aging. This includes the use of stem cells, PRP treatments, IV infusions, weight loss management, botox, filler, and even sexual wellness.
We are best known for our customer service, the ability to provide a concierges service (where we can provide medications, remedies, and all treatments at the comfort of the patients home or work), and knowledge in our field.
We set ourselves apart by staying up-to-date on all current practice guidelines and using only research and evidence-based practice. This means everyone on our medical staff is the top tier in their respectful levels of practice, and we all conduct our own research constantly, so our patients receive the newest and most advanced treatments as well as techniques possible.
We are innovative and also attend conferences with medical professionals from around the world to learn other approaches rather than staying stagnant in one way of thinking.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck has played a huge role! When we refer to luck, we refer to our blessings. We are extremely “lucky” to meet each and everyone of our patients. The patients who come to us are trusting their life in our hands.
Therefore, we are extremely lucky and take them as the highest respect from everyone. Each plan of care is individualized for them for that specific reason. We are grateful for every person that walks through our doors.
