Today we’d like to introduce you to Janeé Gordon.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors in Organizational Communications and double minor in Business Management and Spanish.

I tried the corporate America world and I did not enjoy it at all. I knew I had a passion for animals but was not interested in being a Veterinarian or anything of the sort.

My cousin told me about a pet sitter she uses for her cat. I did not know this service was available at the time. I did my research and found Snaggle Foot. I was hired as an independent contractor, and within less than a year, I purchased the business from the owners.

Ever since then, I have been so grateful and blessed to have a growing and successful business.

Has it been a smooth road?
I believe nothing in life comes easy. So I wouldn’t say this was a smooth road. I had to gain clients trust, build on relationships with clients, and learn how to navigate all the different aspects and dimensions of being a business owner. I always feel like I am still learning something new about the business.

Snaggle Foot is an in-home pet care service where we provide the upmost care to your pets while you are away from home. Whether you are gone for work or for an out of town vacation, we come to your home. This is a great alternative to the kennel because they are home in their own natural environment.

Our services range from pet sitting, dog walking, senior and puppy breaks, medicine administration, pet taxi and royalty services.

I am most proud of the continued success Snaggle Foot is having. Last year, I won Best Pet Care Business in Grand Prairie, and also just won it again for this year! I am very proud to own a business where I can help others by caring for their pets. Knowing that I am giving them a piece of mind and that they don’t have to worry while they are in my care, is such a blessing.

I believe what sets me apart from others is that I strive to build and maintain a strong relationship with my clients.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
The DFW area is perfect for any pet care business. It is a very pet friendly area, and many people love to have the convenience of someone to come and take care of their pets!
