So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been in the hair industry for 11 years come June. I am still currently at the same salon have worked at since I started doing hair! I’m very grateful that they are so flexible with my schedule, between my bridal business and being a mom there’s not much time for anything else. It also helps I have married into the family, but that’s a story for another day.
In 2015, when my oldest daughter was about one, I decided I needed to get in the wedding business if you haven’t noticed it’s a booming market I had many clients ask if we could come on location for their weddings,
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing great ever comes easy! I believe that through and through. If you’re passionate about something, no matter what obstacles come your way, you will have the drive to overcome and learn from them.
The wedding industry is all about networking, it’s something I struggle with because quite frankly, I don’t have a lot of free time. This is my number one goal for 2019. So far I have met a lot of great wedding professionals at various styled shoots earlier this year.

Rose Gold Bridal Beauty is an on-site bridal Hair and makeup service. We specialize in natural glam and romantic updos. Our main focus is to accentuate everyone’s natural beauty instead of masking it under makeup.
Something that might set us apart is our effort to provide non-toxic and green alternatives to hair products and cosmetics. I am very passionate about living a greener life and I want o be able to share that with everyone I meet.
What were you like growing up?
Being the oldest of four, my younger sister always claims I am the bossy one. I don’t completely disagree but I am not by any means overbearing.
I have always enjoyed being involved, whether it was sports or an organization of some sort. As a kid, one of my favorite things was stationary, and not much has changed. I’m such a sucker for a pretty planner, think Rifle Paper Company.
My mom says I liked creating things as a young child, I loved arts and crafts and enjoyed being outdoors. I’m very fortunate I have a job where I can be creative, I get to create hair “sculptures” if you will.
