Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasimin Hall.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jasimin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always loved doing makeup so I enrolled in school to learn more techniques and proper application. I ended up going to school for Aesthetics which actually only dabbled in makeup. Once I began to learn about skin and how to correct skin problems like acne and scarring, I began to want to help people like myself with their skin issues. My goal was to keep my prices affordable so that people who wanted the luxurious spa treatments could afford them. Once I graduated, I knew I wanted to work for myself and that I needed to be in an area accessible to my community.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been easy. From financial shortcomings to not having enough clients to even make my rent for the week. I still pushed through. Even still there are some slow times where I’m trying to run specials to get the clients in. But my growth over these past two years has been a blessing.

Please tell us more about your story. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a licensed Esthetician in the state of Texas. I perform facial treatments that help with acne, hyperpigmentation, and anti-aging. I special in the treatment and prevention of acne. I also offer eyelashes extensions, makeup and body waxing. I believe my own struggle with acne has helped me learn more ways to combat acne and scarring. I try to price my services to meet the budget of my community as well.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I’m really down to earth and people tend to feel comfortable around me. Even when they are nervous before a treatment, I usually am able to get my clients calm and comfortable before a treatment.
