Jason, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I married Country Music Artist Tori Martin from Azle, TX. In 2017 we moved to Nashville for her music. I had previously worked for an oil investment company. The oil market had dropped significantly in 2016 and I was burnt out on the industry. When we moved to Nashville, I had no job waiting on me. Tori likes to say we moved on a penny and a prayer. I got on Craigslist and saw an ad for a real estate investment company looking to hire. I pestered then until they gave me the job. After six months, they moved to a different market and let me go. I took only $20 we had and started my own company. Now three years later, we are a multi-million dollar company with offices in Ft Worth, Nashville, Cincinnati and Columbus, Georgia. God really has blessed us.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Hahaha, I wish. It was a struggle. We started with only $20 and that’s no exaggeration. It took a while to build consistency. They were months we struggled. Our lights have been turned off at my house a few times bc I couldn’t pay the bill. But we were persistent and we grounded through the adversity. I like to remind myself all greatness goes through adversity or it won’t be great.
Freaky Fast Home Buyers and Investments – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Freaky Fast Home Buyers and Investments is a real estate investment company. We specialize in Turnkey rentals. We buy mainly single-family homes and either rent them out or use them as vacation rentals on air bnb. A turnkey rental is a property that was distressed when we purchased it. We than rehab it ourselves, lease it out and manage it through our in house property management company. After it’s leased, we either sell it to an investor looking for a passive investment or we refinance it ourselves. We have three options to invest with our company.
The first Option is to be a lender. Second, you can purchase a home and own it outright. Lastly, you purchase into a partnership and own a percentage of multiple properties. The whole concept is to provide passive investment opportunities where your money works for you.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success has absolutely nothing to do with money or how big your company is. Those things can be indicators of success but not the final stamp of approval. TRUE SUCCESS is the legacy you leave behind. It’s not how much money you have but what you do with your money that defines a person. Real estate and money is not my end game. They are tools to help me accomplish my purpose in life. Helping impact the life’s of people in your community is true success.
