Meet Jason Jet

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Jet.

Jason, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started doing music when I was 10 years old. so now a little over 20 years. I was inspired by watching my father make music and write his music. as time progressed at the age of 20 I had over 500 songs in my portfolio and I started learning to write records. I moved to Florida and graduated from Full Sail University and joined a few bands on the side. I had the chance to see firsthand how to write song lyrics and I was inspired to pursue being a music artist and produce for others. Today I have a few projects available and I also am an educator giving youth the chance to shine in my Young Icon’s recording program.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Its been a great challenge coming from releasing my first album in 2009 and taking my first record deals. I gotta chance to work in big studios in NYC. After dissolving things with my then management team I had to go back to the drawing board on how to display my art.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I am a producer, singer-songwriter and engineer. I like the fact that I’m able to craft original music for artists of all sorts that encompasses various instrumentation from guitar, piano, drums and more. When you work with me you think of a one-stop-shop.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My parents, my wife and kids all play a vital part of a support.
