Meet Jeanna’ Mead of Rockwall Body and Soul Massage

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeanna’ Mead.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jeanna’. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I opened Rockwall Body and Soul Massage in May of 2013, This is a dream come true…a place where I can do therapeutic massage on the body while also creating a haven for the soul.

My clients have encouraged me to pursue my writing as well as my passion for communication for the deaf.

Rockwall Body and Soul Massage is located right off the square in downtown Rockwall and I specialize in Ashiatsu, Thai and Custom Massage.

Has it been a smooth road?
As a hearing impaired woman, there have certainly been challenges which is why I’m so grateful for technology like AVA-Audio Visual Accessibility-app that I use to help communicate with my clients when needed.

One has been getting clients to understand what I do hear…and what I don’t.

I’ve been blessed with absolutely wonderful clients that have strengthened me and taught me so much.

My faith has grown deeper during the challenges as I’ve learned how to do what I was created for.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Rockwall Body and Soul Massage – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I’m a massage therapist that is known for my spiritual connection and my poetry as much as for my massages

My place and my intention is to invite, to rejuvenate, to inspire and to help people

My studio is named after the C.S.Lewis quote that states “You don’t have a soul, you ARE a soul….you have a body.” and that sets my model for massage and for life.

I believe that every time we touch someone, we touch the spirit and therefore, we must touch with intention, compassion,respect and knowledge.

This is what sets me apart- I am mindful of the soul and the body.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Rockwall, Texas is a charming town with so much to offer. My studio is right off the square where there are wonderful restaurants and shops and I’m also walking distance to Harry Meyers park, which offers so much to do.

There’s a “small town” vibe here and it’s a great place to live and to work.
