Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Lawson
Hi Jenny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a 4-time NYT bestselling author and I own Nowhere Bookshop in San Antonio.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I struggle with mental illness and arthritis which I write about often.

I’ve written four books that are dark-humor, authentic looks at my life. They are Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, Furiously Happy, You Are Here and Broken. I have a blog at thebloggess.com. I’m also known for the doodles I create that help me during periods of mental illness. I’m currently working on a book about creativity and tools for working through struggles.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being able to laugh at the hard things helps. There’s something about laughing at a monster that makes it smaller and more manageable.
