Meet Jenny Sandoval of Mckinney Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenny Sandoval.

Hi Jenny, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Since childhood, flowers have always felt like precious gems to me-full of infinite colors and life, My mother’s garden was my first classroom, where I learned that with care and good soils, beauty could flourish. Years later, while volunteering at a memory care facility in Mckinney, I witnessed the power of flowers in a profound way. While passing flowers to the residents of the facility something unforgettable happened . A sweet lady resident received a flower to her hand, and while staring it deeply, she saddenly grabbed my hand and held it tightly. It was obvious that something about that flower – its fragrance, its beauty- its color had awakened a memory within her-tears streamed down her face she held it to her chest. I never knew exactly what memory came back to her, but in that moment I realized the profound impact of flowers can have on the spirit and even on memories that seems lost. A simple bloom awakened a memory- how amazing is that. I faithfully believe that flowers are a gift from God- the creator of all things. He designed every bloom, every plant not only their beauty, but also for the joy, for the comfort, and even healing and peace they can bring to our souls in a way words could not. That was the true beginning of my floral journey. Flowers are not only beauty they carry memory, healing and love. My passion is to design floral pieces that speak to the heart and honor life’s most meaningful moments.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it hasn’t been a “smoky road”, but my journey hasn’t been with out challenges One of my biggest struggles has been low exposure-getting my work seen and recognized. Floral design is such a personal and competitive field and at the begging I often felt invisible even though I was pouring my heart into creations. Another challenge has been balancing the artistic side with the business side. Despite these struggles, each obstacle has shaped me. Low exposure thought me resilience and reminded me why I stated the first place- because flowers have the power to touch lives. Little by little, I learned to embrace opportunities, like volunteering, participating in floral symposiums, study floral design with prominent floral teachers designers with European, Usa recognized certification that has allow me to grow and be updated to the current floral trends and now being featured in Voyage Magazine, which has opened doors I once only dream of.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a floral artist inspired by the elegance and harmony of the nature inspired designs that tell a story. I specialized in contemporary design for hotels, corporate businesses and special events, always prioritazing natural materials and sustainable techniques. My creation reflect balance and sophistication-blendig structure with emotion. What sets my work apart is my ability to capture the essence of nature with subtlety and purpose. I am most proud of participating in floral exhibitions such as FYJA in Mexico City, where I celebrated biodiversity through sustainable design and color symbolism. I am passionate about floral fashion and the art of designing floral logos, My goal is to create pieces that evoke beauty, respect for nature, and timeless elegance.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I see my journey as a series of blessings rather than luck. Each opportunity- from meeting inspiring mentors such as my floral design teacher doors have open by attending and being invited to symposiums. I have volunteer my services for the gala dinners. Also in 2023 the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Dallas gave me the privilege of participating in the Scale Up program-a business course focused on growth and development. This experience allowed me to gain new tools to strengthen my business with more strategic and sustainable vision. It was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other hispanic entrepreneurs, share experiences, and continue growing my floral passion with a solid and professional foundation.
