Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Shamar.
Jeremy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was raised in a family were once a month we would go to a homeless shelter and feed people that are in need. Giving back to my community has been installed in me and I wanted to create a company that represented that but also represented the outgoing, fun, and just want everyone around me to have a good time side of me as well.
Which is how I came up with “WeLive.Ent”, A party promotion company that represents our slogan “Party with a Purpose” because behind every event I have, there is a purpose rather, it’s donating a percentage of the profits to a charity or collecting Can sell Goods for homeless people as your entry fee.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The main obstacle I’ve had to overcome is people not believing in my vision, which at first created self-doubt in me. I’ve only been in Dallas a Lil over a year and trying to build a brand in a city that you were not born in can be quite challenging from people only trying to be an apart for their own self-gain or trying to recreate my idea as there own, to not having a support system to make my company run smoothly but I don’t believe in taking any losses only delayed wins and I can say I’ve been very blessed with my endeavors thus far.
WeLive.Ent – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Welive.Ent is not your typical party promotion company. We are known for Partying with a purpose that is having a good time but giving back to your community while you doing it. Every event Welive.ent has had always had a purpose behind it rather, it’s donating a percentage of the profits made to a charity or collecting different items for homeless people as our entry fee. I’m most proud that I have created an organization that has meaning behind it and that my company is being recognized throughout Dallas.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me, is genuinely loving what you do. I love to see people having a good time and enjoying life. I’m grateful that I am able to help make memorable moments for people and give back at the same time. That’s success to me.
