Meet Jeremy Taylor of Taylor Made Integrative Therapy in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Taylor.

Jeremy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Southern California where I participated in as many sports as possible. Football (always my favorite), baseball, basketball, wrestling, surfing, skateboarding, just to name a few. In high school, I was an All-League middle linebacker and captain of the State Champion Trabuco Hills Mustangs football team. With a 4.3 GPA, I was recruited by several Ivy-League schools to play football. After visiting New York City on a recruiting trip, I knew I was going to attend Columbia University. I excelled at football becoming an All-Ivy League linebacker from sophomore year on and leading the team as captain my senior year. In 2000, I was chosen as an All-Decade middle linebacker recently inducted into the Columbia Athletics Hall-of-Fame in 2015 with the rest of my team.

I began my pursuit of Chiropractic after suffering a low back injury in 2007. After only getting temporary relief from medication and physical therapy, I saw a chiropractor for the first time. Instead of just trying to fix the symptoms, she showed him how my previous sports injuries had caused my body to compensate leading to my then current condition. After restoring function and range of motion to these other areas, Dr. Taylor noticed lasting relief and increased performance in all his athletic endeavors.

As a high level athlete with more than a few serious traumatic injuries, I was amazed at how much better I felt after chiropractic care, even after dealing with these injuries for years. I used to be in the athletic trainer’s room daily while in college, and I wish I would have found someone who specialized in myofascial therapy. I vowed that I would get the word out and help as many athletes as I could to play pain free and perform at a higher level. So I attended Parker University where I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic Cum Laude, a B.S. in Anatomy, and a B.S. in Health & Wellness,

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
School was easy because I loved what I was learning. But after graduation, I realized how green I was and that I had a lot to learn. I realized that in order to be successful, you can’t just be a great doctor, you have to be savvy at business. You also have to do a lot of personal development. After struggling for a few years, I joined an amazing group of chiropractors that taught me a lot of those things. I became one of the top providers in that company and with that experience and knowledge, I knew I was ready to go out on my own again.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Taylor Made Integrative Therapy – what should we know?
Taylor Made Integrative Therapy combines the most effective treatments to resolve injuries as quickly as possible. We specialize in spinal and extremity adjustments, muscle and fascial therapies, rehabilitative exercises, and self-mofascial techniques are taught so the patient can maintain flexibility and muscle coordination.

We are most proud of the results that we get and the bond and trust established without patients.

Working with elite athletes from top ranked schools, I’ve noticed they get the same treatment I received nearly 20 years ago. What sets Taylor Made Integrative Therapy apart from other therapies is the devotion to our patients, the years studying and applying different techniques, and the fact that Dr. Taylor has experienced many of those injuries first hand and resolved them himself.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My partner in life Jamie Taylor has been an immense help with the startup and ongoing operations of Taylor Made Integrative Therapy. Not only supporting me at the clinic but also at home.
