Meet Jerome Anthony of Flat Earth Under Water Space Base

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerome Anthony.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Jerome Anthony and I am originally from Southeast Washington DC. I’ve been living in Dallas now for 6 years, and it’s my new home. I am a CREATIVE! I create all over the art spectrum as much as I humanly can. I’m a musician, (Producer, Writer, Rapper, Singer, Engineer) Also I’m a Digital and Physical Graphics Designer as well as a fashion designer.

I’ve always had a love for art in general growing up as a child. I come from a very talented and creative family. My mother was a very fashion-forward person. She was a professional Hair Technician recognized from the moon and back. Watching how she sculpted her works of art on people’s heads was inspiring to me. It was more than hair it was measurements, the accuracy, and above all the design of the style. It was art to me. My aunt was gifted with the ability to draw, paint, dance, sing, and the list goes on. I could speak about many others but this was just brief introduction to some of my influences. With that being said I’m an artist and I’m thankful that I can wake up and create.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We all have struggles. Some of us prevail and some of us do not. I feel like as long as you fight, you’ll always have a chance to change and or overcome any adversity that may be in your way. My struggles were like any other person’s struggles. Financial, Mental, Physical, etc. I put my best foot forward and I March even when I’m tired. The difference between a winner and a loser is a winner plays until they win.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

I’m proud of all these talents I’ve been gifted with or taken the time learn. I’m big on individualism. People should set out to be weird different and crazy so the envelope can be pushed. We need new and fresh ideas not the same copies of what we’re used to.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’m not too big on social media but I do utilize apps like Instagram and YouTube for business and personal use. I’m big on motivational and positive podcast and blog sites. I haven’t read as many books as I would like to lately lol but I have a few on my list for the immediate future. Outside of that getting outside and working out helps in my processes as well.
