Meet Dr. Jerron Hill of Ketamine Health & Wellness Center of Texas in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to  Dr. Jerron Hill MD, PA.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Dr. Jerron. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was intrigued by the efficacy of Ketamine after reading an article in an Anesthesiology News magazine. Through intensive research this past year and a half, I’ve found that Dallas desperately needed transformative mental health services that could speak to everybody in our community–children, teens, adults, grandparents, and so on. After observing the life-changing results of Ketamine through a trusted friend and fellow anesthesiologist in the Northeast, I committed to opening the Ketamine Health & Wellness Center of Texas. The majority of my friend patients had a positive change in their mood and or function with Ketamine treatment, and after running my clinic for nearly a year, I can proudly say the same. As a clinician who has practiced Anesthesia for over 25 years, providing Ketamine infusions in an outpatient setting has been just as rewarding as working in the O.R. I am driven by compassion to help as many people with mood disorders and chronic pain as possible, and I strive to bring restoration and healing through Ketamine for many years to come.

Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve had no struggles in setting up and operating the KHWCr.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ketamine Health & Wellness Center of Texas – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
1. We do Ketamine infusion for treating patients with treatment resistant depression, Bipolar Depression, PTSD, OCD, Postpartum Depression, Suicidal Ideations and patients who suffer from Fibromyalgia, CRPS and Migraine Headaches.

2. We specialize in treating people who have been resistant to traditional forms of treatment for depression and chronic pain. We’ve taken care of patients that have been resistant to ECT and TMS but have had a positive response to Ketamine infusions. We’ve also seen people who have suffered for years with Migraine Headache and Fibromyalgia have a positive response to Ketamine infusion. The intensity, frequency and duration of their pain has significantly decreased.

3. I’m proud of the warmth shared between our patients and staff members. It is of upmost importance that our patients feel safe, seen, and valued. We do our best to comfort and encourage them throughout treatment. I’m also proud that we keep in touch with our patients; they are free to reach out at any time. Although Ketamine is not meant to be a lifetime treatment, we do our best to create a lifetime impact, and bridge a lifetime community that is here to help when called upon. To me, that’s invaluable.

4. Our Ketamine Health and Wellness center is unique in that we offer an aftercare program so that we can clinically monitor our patients’ progress after they’ve completed their series of Ketamine infusions. In addition, we are a wellness center providing intravenous vitamin infusions for a myriad of health conditions. High dose IV vitamin infusion which is useful for treating patients who have chronic fatigue syndrome, cold or flu, immunodeficiency, malabsorption, athletic performance enhancement and more.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’ve resided in Dallas for 15 years, and the growth has been tremendous. What I enjoy most is the warmth of our community and everybody who plays a part in it–new business developments, bustling restaurants, and my local church home. I am a Texas resident for life; however, the downside is the traffic– it has increased within the past five years. Before you know it, we’ll be just like LA!

My chiropractor, Mark Liebich, has been to see you. He mentioned your office and briefly explained what you do. I am 69 with moderate to advanced Macular Degeneration. I am under the impression that this condition is caused by a lack of lutein and another long word starting with x, or something like that! Ha! Anyway, I have the dry kind but am at high risk for it going wet, which is when I an lose part of my central eyesight. Do you help patients like me with an IV injection with the right kind of vitamins?

    Thanks,
    Sharon Swain
