Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerry Beers.
Jerry, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2008, when Apple opened up the iPhone to 3rd party developers, I was out at their developer conference and really got excited about what they were enabling. I jumped in with both feet and started doing as much iOS development as I could. I recognized that there would be a big demand and started to build a team of developers.
Most of our growth over the years has been from word of mouth and referrals. As the years progressed, clients have continued to reach out to us to help develop their app ideas from the ground up or augment their teams so they can get more done.
Because I like to teach, I’ve started training other developers who want to learn about mobile development. Our goal is to be the mobile experts for our customers.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think every business has challenges, but having partners has really helped with addressing them. Kevin Legg and I built Five Pack Creative together and have supported each other along the way. Our biggest challenge has been managing growth to ensure our customer experience and app quality is top-notch and our core team has really helped with that.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Five Pack Creative – what should we know?
Five Pack Creative exists to be the technology experts for our customers. We specialize in mobile development – iOS and Android. We get a lot of repeat and referral business because we understand the needs of our customers and create solutions for those needs with excellence – we take pride in the quality of our work.
We give back by helping to train others and by participating in the developer community (primarily through Alt-U and RayWenderlich.com).
Five Pack Creative (FPC) is a mobile app development agency based out of Frisco, TX and has been building beautiful mobile apps since 2008 when Apple released the SDK and gave the development world access to the App Store. FPC has had the opportunity to work on hundreds of released apps and has accumulated several high-profile clients in their portfolio, such as American Airlines, Match.com, One Technologies, and the United Way to name a few.
FPC is focused on native mobile development, and FPC projects have included mobile apps for industries like: Medical, Travel, Education, Retail, Social Media, Gaming, Music, and many more.
