Meet Jessica Broadnax of JessMade Custom Creations in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Broadnax.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jessica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started pressing shirts for my children since they both play sports as a hobby. My family and friends saw potential in my work and pushed me to expose my work to the world. I was very Leary at first because I am very shy when it comes to interacting with people I don’t know. I began to pray and ask God what he had planned for me?

Needless to say, he gave me an answer & I stepped out on FAITH & start exposing myself. When I finally start advertising my work, my family and friends were very supportive. Never in a million years did I think it would take off like it did. I then became JessMade Custom Creations and the rest is HISTORY. I went from pressing 1-2 shirts for people to pressing a bulk order for little league teams, sports teams in schools, & Children’s Hospital. I must say I am very GRATEFUL & without God, this all would have been IMPOSSIBLE!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
(Chuckles) That’s like asking is I35 smooth? No road is ever SMOOTH! JessMade has had hiccups like any other business. Some struggles that I’ve had to deal with are working a very demanding full-time job & not knowing what time I will get off sometimes, balancing a family, & outages with my internet company. I have this saying that I stand by “If it’s EASY it’s NOT WORTH it & it’s not WORTH it if it’s EASY.”

JessMade Custom Creations – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
JessMade Custom Creations creates & customizes anything for any event. I customize T-shirts, bags, slides, watches, chip bags, water bottles, candy wrappers, & company decals. I am most proud of my company’s growth. As I mentioned earlier, I started printing shirts as a hobby but God had a different plan for me! The thing that sets me apart from others would be diversity. JessMade does not limit herself to one item we offer a variety of things.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
A person with vision who puts forth the effort to overachieve their own vision. Having someone place an order and when they receive it they’re OVERJOYED!
