Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica “Jase” Smith-Martinez
Hi Jase, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started building my company, unbeknownst to me, via the desire to support my children in pursuing their Dreams in any capacity that I could, wearing whatever hat I needed to. How I Got started, was writing pop music at 12 years old, and at 27, I discovered my children had SIMILAR talents they wanted to pursue, motivating me to become a Music Manager, which lead me to other artists as an artist development manager building my own agency; with aim on a legacy. How I got to where I am today, was the will to remain determined, trusting the process of trial an error; skill and support of a hand full of humans who genuinely support me and my endeavors has been my salvation. Choosing the right people was a crucial part in my elevation. All which takes genuine human connection.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It most definitely has not been smooth, the rise to the top is steep and typically rough for everyone. But avoiding choosing what seems to be easy outlets has been a life saver. Handling all circumstances, good, bad or indifferent with class and respect. I feel that has gained me a solid reputation with people who really make a valuable impact in the music industry: those are the people id like to continue to build with.

I specialize in spotting talent and shining a broad spot light onto them, primarily in music, I invest in money time and creative energy by wearing multiple hats, even the ones I don’t care for, in order to get the job done. Examples are manager, stylist, PR, Booking manager, and Showcase Producer.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I feel the most important quality that contributes to my success is the ability to customize the needs of My Musicians, simultaneously appealing to The Venue and Live Audience.
