Today we’d like to introduce you to Jia Foster.
Hi Jia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Jia-Marye Foster, and I consider myself as a freelance model. So, I started modeling years ago with no schooling and barely any resources besides peers, and it showed!!! I was fresh out of high school and just kinda went for it. I didn’t truly know what it meant to be a model. Once I sat down and really prayed and talked to God about following my dreams and truly being the supermodel I’ve imagined for myself, my vision became clear. I’m still learning how to market myself to the ‘right crowd’ but when I say I’ve grown so much with just 2 years. My confidence and overall well-being was turned into a positive light. I learned how to make everything an investment to what type of clothes to buy, makeup to wear, and things that can be used as props.
All that matters to me at this moment is growth and positivity
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Never a smooth ride. Mainly because I basically do everything besides take the picture (coming soon) From coming up with concepts, so photographers have mutual agreements and are willing to work with me. Picking the outfits what looks good for the look as well as what looks good on me. Sometimes having a location in mind helps. Let’s not forget hair and makeup lol. That takes about 2 hours along. No matter the style.
On top of that. Do free work and make it look like everyone got paid!
We’ve been impressed with JiaMarye Model LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is my brand. Still specializing in modeling. It’s mainly to show people I’m about business. I need to be compensated for my work. I know I have to the look, and I’m confident I can deliver services in the most professional fashion.
