Meet Johnny Jackson Jr. of F.C.H.W. Wolves Elite in Irving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnny Jackson Jr.

Johnny, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Being a 100 percent honest the path to starting my first business was very rocky. I was young and I had just come off of a hard breakup and I was trying to decide where to focus my energy. I have always been a highly resilient person but one knows things change when someone is at their lowest point (or as it seems when one is in that predicament). Through a lot of patience, and hard work I was able to take my business from ground level to being a young man and owning, founding and running a successful non-profit.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Never has it been a smooth road. I had a decent road but had many 60 hour work weeks doing everything for my business. I had no clue what I was doing or how to start a business, but as the great Art Williams said, do it anyway. The biggest struggle I had was getting support and help from local business’. However, that was a dead end, so I had to go to parents then the parents trusted me with their youth, then they went to their workplaces and help me. Therefore, I had to go all of the back roads to get what I intended to tackle head-on.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I specialize in elite youth athletic development and specific sports training. I train youth not only physically but mentally. That is how I achieve great results. I help them physically, then mentor them, and also either helps them with school or find someone who can. I believe in holistic reform, both mind, body, and spirit. I am known for my simplistic measures to achieve phenomenal results. I am a person who practices, believe it in the mind, achieve in the physical. Mental practice through visualization is more important than cranking out reps. I am most proud when my athletes achieve something they could not do before, and also how close of a family my program has become over the years. All of the athletes I have coached always come back when they go to college or professional for summer training or when they are out of their sport season.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
There are so many people to thank, first and foremost Christ, and also, Johnathan Haggerty the best fitness trainer and motivator in Dallas. Vidal Dias, the hardest working, successful businessman nationwide. Nelissa Fernandez, a personal trainer who loves her clients and others success over her own personal triumphs. Alexander Mathai, arguably the best movement athletic performance coach in Texas. All of the people at On Point wellness, who keep my spirit calm and my muscle relaxed with advanced acupuncture techniques. Brenda Austin the best massage therapist in the world (if you don’t know you need to find out). Also, Todd Salters, the best-kept gem that Dallas has in regards to his athletic profile with various professional athletes, helping them achieve their goals and dreams. Anthony Mann, and Coach Pat who are the greatest running specialist duos in the world. Last but not least, all of the youth that believes in me and all those who support me worldwide.
