Meet Jordan Allsup of CleanUP

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Allsup.

Hi Jordan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
the concept for CleanUP was conceived during a period of personal struggle and uncertainty.

Its late April / early May of 2020 & the small business that I started began to peak & crumble in a matter of 30 days.

After 2 weeks of no work & no prospects I face the fact that my purpose was changing. An opportunity arose during an early morning prayer walk around a park by the house, when I asked the question “God what’s on your heart?” The reply “Invite Neighbors into your home, better yet take your home to Our Neighbors.”

The journey began with a simple idea — to create a mobile environment that could bring dignity and purpose to a neighbor experiencing difficulties in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

Since day one, CleanUp’s mission has been to be the most neighbor-centric organization, where people engage with the services they need most in mobile care units that come to them.

Today, CleanUP has evolved into a multifaceted organization with a broader mission to redefine the essence of being a neighbor and to foster a sense of community like no other. Throughout our journey, we have continued to expand and evolve and we now serve all neighbors, regardless of their circumstances, through our uniquely designed mobile units.

As an organization, we aim to breathe new life into what it means to be a neighbor in your community.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has had smooth moments, with some moments being smoother & lasting longer than others, but over all the road to Changing the World & how it Loves Neighbors is uphill and rugged, but fulfilling.

CleanUP seeks to be set apart in how we serve, receive funding, volunteer opportunities, etc which is walking down a narrow path or most of the time forging a new lane.

CleanUP is a Mobile Ministry and mobility has a cost & repair bills that are hard to foresee and track.

As CleanUP has grown our output of services and Neighbors receiving these services our financial & volunteer support hasn’t grown as fast. This has taught us perseverance & dedication to maintain quality & care.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
CleanUP is more than just a nonprofit organization. We meet the practical, everyday needs of people in our community by creating Mobile Environments that provide a unique service.

Each unit from our Barbershop to Closet to Classroom is designed in a way to promote an opportunity for change, whether Physical, Spiritual, Mental, Relational, or Emotional.

CleanUP is a support & serve organization meaning we Support local organizations, churches, communities by providing a service that they do not.

We operate on a 100% invitation only basis, as we believe the invite is an opportunity for collaboration & change.

What’s next?
Current plans are for replication of units in DFW to increase our frequency and touch points on a weekly & monthly basis.

From there we have goals & aspirations to take CleanUP outside of DFW as we have had invites in the State of Texas and out.
