Today we’d like to introduce you to Dj Mono.
Dj Mono, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started with the passion of music. I could always feel the flow in the music the rhythm. I had a mentor who got into the disc jokey scene. After that, I fell in love with DJ-ing. I started when I was only 13 years old. I was not even old enough to buy my own DJ equipment. My father bought something small what he could afford for me to follow one of my many crazy dreams, I guess if you see it that way. I always strived myself to do more then what I set my self to do. There were times when I was struggling that I did not understand was I was not getting any DJ-ing contacts.
I remember being so young and eager to DJ that I would tell all my family members and friends and that if they were having a party, I would DJ. Yes, I was one of those I loved that adrenaline run that I would get when I would DJ. Starting off doing this for free as a kid and not make any money sucks, but I did not give up. I knew that If I kept working hard and keep on going, I would eventually become successful. Now I look back at many of the things I always wanted to do as a DJ, and I feel proud. There is many more things I can do, the sky is the limit. I have worked for radio stations as well as mixed live on air-radio. I went from DJ-ing for free at friends and family houses to being on top of a stage and opening for big bands in front of thousands of people. The feeling is awesome and hard to explain.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth. With success comes struggles and sacrifices. In the business of being a DJ, you can miss out on the most important things in life. Such family events, holidays. Now that I am a father doing this mostly every day especially on weekends days and nights I miss moments every day with my kids. And it sucks because they grow up so fast. My partner, my wife, has to put up with me not being there on weekends and her not going out with me while I am out on weekend nights DJ-ing. I have learned to overcome and manage the time I spent DJ-ing and spent time with my family wisely,
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
Dj Mono Entertainment is a professional Dj business. We offer any set up for any event big or small. While playing the newest and hottest music in the in music industry as well as the old jams, Dj mono Entertainment can accommodate any type of event the customer wishes. I try to take their event to the next level and have the best party experience possible, something unforgettable.
Dj Mono Entertainment is the here with the best music mixing live for and type of event: Birthday Parties, Holiday Festivals, School events, Charity events, Weddings, Grand openings, Sweet Sixteens, Quincenera.
What sets me apart from others. Honestly, I do not think that’s a question I can actually answer. My customers, my followers, the people who hire me are mainly the ones who know what sets me apart from everyone else doing the same thing I am doing. I think they have the answer to this; that’s why they hire me or contact me. If I had to answer this, I believe what would set me apart from others is that to me, no matter what size crowd, how big or small the venue is. I will always make sure you enjoy my presence of DJ-ing for you and enjoy the music I play.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over and had the chance to do things differently. I do not think I would change anything I did. The reason being is that struggling and fighting is what got me to where I am now. It got me to appreciate my struggles and defeats. This helped me get where. I am now.
