Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Lane.
Joseph, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started personal training at 20 years old in Nacogdoches, Texas. At 24, I started my first business, called Genesis Fitness. The business did well and the city was very good to me but I needed more challenges and a bigger plan. I came to Dallas on a whim five years ago and started to train here. After a lot of hard work and meeting a lot of people, I started NUE Fitness in April 2017. The ultimate goal was to build an environment that was open to any type of person no matter who they were or what fitness/health help they needed. Nue fitness feeds off of a very private motivating location with experienced, credible trainers. Quality of training and how we treat people is always the number one priority for my business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t believe any road is completely smooth for an entrepreneur. A lot of things you learn are from making the best decision you can. I do believe tho that treating people as they deserve is the only way to true success.
Nue Fitness – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We specialize in private personal training, along with developing nutrition programs for clients as well. I am most proud of how dedicated my team is to helping their clients achieve what they are investing in us for, and more importantly how they take the clients in and treat them as they would want to be treated. I believe what sets us apart from others is that our approach is always going to be different for each new client that walks in the door. There are no cookie-cutter preplanned programs here. Every client will be assessed individually and privately and their needs and wants are the main consideration used when creating their programs. We do not take short cuts and pride ourselves in giving clients true VALUE.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Hard to pick a proudest moment. One of them I have had in my career is the relationships I’ve developed with current and past clients and how those continue to stay strong and some even grow. There is nothing like helping someone every step of the way to hit a goal they truly desire. Another one is building a great team that feeds off of each other and grows together. I treat my team like family. I could go on and on. There’s not a day that goes by I don’t pray and thank God for the blessings I have within my small business here in Dallas.
