Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Both my parents are musicians and love music deeply.
They passed the torch, and I’ve taken it to another level. Nowadays, I’ve been deemed a knighted funkateer and I continually record and perform and will continue to do so til the wheels fall off!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been the true definition of rock and roll, aka extreme highs and lows and everything in between. The main struggles have always been financial and personal battles.
Sometimes, the budget doesn’t match your visions and desires. Other times, your emotions and decisions distract you from your purpose. Despite all this, I always remind myself that the show must go on through it all.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a singer/songwriter, entertainer, and visionary for myself and others.
I am known for always creating my own lane and making crowds go crazy. I am proud of myself for never giving up and constantly giving the music game raw electric funk.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I enjoy the DFW music scene. It’s a huge influence on my sound and outlook on life.
I would like to see more folks playing more team ball and helping each other reach new levels musically and financially. More exposure and co-signs create opportunities for many others.
