Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Tauzin.
Amber, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am the founder of Just Add Bronze – Mobile Spray Tanning & Body Contouring. I am a mom to two toddlers and recently moved from Katy, TX to the DFW Area.
My journey began at Aviva Labs where I received my certification in airbrush tanning followed by receiving my master certification for airbrush tanning by Norvell University. I then went on to train one on one with 3-time Victoria Secret Fashion Show Bronzer & Lead Body MUA, Katie Quinn. I received my defined contour certification by Katie Quinn. I have since become a member of the Association of Sunless Tanning Pros and have recently interviewed with Dallas TV Host, Brittany Madrid with BZenTV twice now to help give knowledge on spray tanning to other women.
After doing some research and discovering the benefits of spray tanning and knowing that I would be able to provide an all natural, healthy safe glow to each and every one of my clients made me realize that it would become my passion. At Just Add Bronze, I only use top of the line products that are Gluten-Free, Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Phthalate-Free, GMO-Free, Triclosan-Free, Nut Allergen-Free, 100% Vegan and Cruelty-Free.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My spray tanning journey has been a pretty smooth road. However, switching cities when my business was just starting to take off definitely caused a bump in the road. It has now been almost a full year since I relocated to the DFW area and my business is doing better than I could have ever imagined. I am truly grateful to have such loyal clients who continue to help spread the word about Just Add Bronze – Mobile Spray Tanning & Body Contouring.
Please tell us about Just Add Bronze.
Just Add Bronze is a mobile custom spray tanning business. I spray tan clients in the comfort of their own home (or my home) if that is what the client prefers. I customize colors based on each clients skin tone/type. I also specialize in body contouring, which is where I use a special contouring gun and high-pressure compressor to highlight and enhance one’s muscle definition. I think what sets me apart from other spray tan techs and salons is that I take pride in customizing every tan and also that I have been trained by the best of the best, Katie Quinn.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is playing soccer. I was pretty competitive growing up and soccer was something I was good at. I enjoyed spending weekends on the field with my family and I look forward to doing the same with my children as they grow older.
