Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Seitz.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Baylor interior design graduate. Moved to DFW in 1999. Started my firm in 2001. We are a full-service interior design firm. My business has grown organically from client referrals and word of mouth. Currently employ a team of 10, with work across the DFW metroplex, and around the country.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Founded the business a few months before 9/11. My first large project evaporated on 9/12, as financial fallout from the terrorist attacks. We’ve survived downturns in the financial markets, oil and gas busts, etc. So I think we are here to stay.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Seitz Design – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a full-service, bespoke interior design firm. Our primary focus is high-end residential design, but we do commercial, corporate, and hospitality work as well. And we also offer architectural services, so we can help all facets of design projects from the ground up. And we often do.
I’m most proud of my team, and the work we accomplish together. And thankful for the relationships we’ve built with our clients over the years. Their continued support and patronage is what has allowed us to do what we love to do.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The design world, as a business enterprise, is changing so rapidly. How people acquire design product, and the place that creativity has in commerce, is in flux. I enjoy looking into the future to see how our firm can grow and change to accommodate this ever-changing world.
Also looking forward to expanding into branded products, reflective of my firm’s design ethos.
