Today we’d like to introduce you to K. Noelle Fulford.
Hi K. Noelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Medicine runs in my family, but becoming a nurse practitioner and medical aesthetic business owner was never part of my original plan.
As a child, I imagined a life in fashion—sketching gowns and dreaming up silhouettes. In high school, that passion shifted to interior design, and I even declared it as my major at Texas Christian University. But something didn’t quite fit. I found myself increasingly drawn to the sciences—biology, psychology, sociology—and just weeks before college began, I made a last-minute pivot to nursing. It felt right.
At my core, I’m a caretaker and a lifelong student of the human experience. I began my career in oncology and palliative care before transitioning to work alongside my dad, Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. G. Hunt Neurohr, while earning my nurse practitioner degree from Texas Woman’s University. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in the operating room, perioperative patient care, and cosmetic injectables.
After becoming board-certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, I practiced internal medicine in Houston before returning to the Dallas area with my husband and our two sons. We were excited to be closer to family again. I continued in primary care and eventually found my way back to aesthetics. I have had exceptional mentors along the way who shaped both my clinical skillset and philosophy.
In 2023, I felt called to create something of my own. Launching Nurse Noelle Aesthetics was a leap of faith, guided by a clear vision: to empower the aging process through connection, education, and intentional care. I have the privilege of working alongside my father as my medical director, practicing in his Preston Center plastic surgery center and was able to expand my business to Flower Mound in early 2025.
Rather than promoting “anti-aging,” I embrace a pro-aging approach—one that prioritizes understanding how we age, so we can support the process thoughtfully. Healthy habits, consistency, and—if desired—science-backed aesthetic treatments work together to help individuals feel confident, supported, and aligned.
Today, I have the opportunity to blend science, artistry, and human connection every day—helping people feel seen and confident in their skin. Owning my business allows me to practice at the standard I feel best serves my clients, while also giving me the time to be present with my two little boys.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My career has been shaped by self-discovery, and for a time, I questioned whether aesthetics was truly where I belonged. I worried about contributing to a culture that encourages people to be their own harshest critics. It was something I had struggled with personally, and I never wanted to fuel that narrative.
In my early twenties, my self-confidence was at an all-time low. I felt lost and sought validation in places that offered only temporary worth. With the support of loved ones, therapy, and self care systems, I began reclaiming my sense of self. I rediscovered my spark—and, in the process, recognized my ability to help others find theirs.
As I learned to take control of my own narrative, I found clarity in my work and at home. By blending my background in internal medicine and preventive care with aesthetic training, I was able to reframe the conversation. Rather than focusing solely on the external signs of aging, I intentionally acknowledge the internal, emotional journey that accompanies it. I believe deeply that this work is exactly what I was meant to do.
As you know, we’re big fans of Nurse Noelle Aesthetics. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I created Nurse Noelle Aesthetics with the intention of offering a thoughtful blend of luxury and approachability for busy individuals who want to feel like themselves again. My practice focuses on customized cosmetic treatments that deliver natural, refined results—always with care, education, and a little encouragement along the way.
I specialize in cosmetic injectables, including neuromodulators (Botox/tox), dermal fillers, biostimulants such as Sculptra, and SkinPen microneedling. My approach is rooted in understanding the whole person—goals, concerns, lifestyle, and energy—so each treatment plan feels aligned and personal.
Experiencing low confidence, burnout, and postpartum seasons firsthand deeply shaped my philosophy around self-care. It reinforced my belief that aesthetic treatments are most impactful when they support both physical confidence and emotional well-being. I’m known for delivering subtle, natural results while prioritizing safety, education, and prevention.
Continual learning is a cornerstone of my practice. I regularly train alongside my father during plastic surgery procedures, travel to learn from global leaders in the aesthetic industry, and invest in ongoing education to refine my craft. This commitment allows me to provide treatments that are science-backed, current, and thoughtfully executed.
What I’m most proud of is how clients feel in my chair. While the outward glow is real, the internal shift—confidence, ease, and self-recognition—is what matters most. At Nurse Noelle Aesthetics, connection always comes before injection, and my goal is for every client to feel seen, supported, and empowered long after their appointment ends.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
It’s an exciting time to be in aesthetic medicine. Over the next five to ten years, I believe we will see significant growth in regenerative treatments—approaches that work with the body rather than simply covering up the visible signs of aging.
Regenerative medicine in aesthetics focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to repair, rebuild, and rejuvenate tissue. These treatments work at a deeper, cellular level to improve skin quality, structure, and function over time.
Today, regenerative options already include biostimulatory injectables such as Sculptra and Radiesse, which encourage the body to gradually produce its own collagen and elastin. The results are subtle, natural, and evolve over months rather than appearing overnight.
Looking ahead, the future of regenerative aesthetics will likely bring more advanced collagen-, elastin-, and adipose (fat)-stimulating technologies, expanded use of growth factors, and thoughtfully designed combination therapies. These approaches will increasingly blend injectables and lifestyle-based support to create longer-lasting, more comprehensive results.
The goal of regenerative aesthetics isn’t to change how someone looks—it’s to restore and support the biology of aging skin in a personalized, intentional way. This shift toward regeneration reflects a more holistic approach to care—one that respects individuality, prioritizes long-term skin health, and empowers people to age with confidence.
