Today we’d like to introduce you to Kacy Rodgers II and Alex Calhoun.
Although both originally from Tennessee, Alex and Kacy have had the unique experience of living all across the country, and are fortunate enough to now call downtown Dallas, TX their home!
Man, oh man, where do we even start?! Our story truly begins from birth.
Picture the most cliche and romantic relationship all in one. Our parents were best friends in college, and our moms were pregnant at the same time. Forced to hang around one another as kids, we couldn’t stand each other. Needless to say now, we can’t get enough of one another. Imagine that!
After a couple of years, a few countries, and more Facetimes than we can count, we are fortunate enough to now call downtown Dallas, TX our home!
Alex, hailing from Nashville, TN, started her career in Supply Chain after graduating from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols! This industry has taken her from retail, travel and expense, to oil and gas right here in Texas. With such a diverse background not only in product but people as well, she is excited to use her expertise and knowledge in helping others find their dream home.
Kacy, hailing from Knoxville, TN, started his professional football career in the NFL after graduating from the University of Miami. Go Canes! When his family settled in Southlake, TX at a young age, he knew immediately this would be his home for life. Being a current NFL free agent and maximizing his degree in economics, Kacy is in a distinctive position to use his resources to help others find their dream home.
When Alex isn’t hinting at an engagement ring from Kacy, *cough cough*, the two love to cook, stay active in sports, binge-watch their favorite shows, and frequently travel to explore new countries. In the midst of all this, the two also own a property investment firm. Although no kids at the moment, don’t tell that to their four-legged puppy named Beckham!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We wouldn’t say anything is ever smooth, especially when you’re trying got build a brand and are in a competitive market. We fast-tracked our career from the very beginning – knocked out the classes in three weeks, took the test two weeks later, and passed the test on our first attempt. Our first deal was done within 90 days of having our license and we thought, “oh, this is a piece of cake.” Then, four months pass and we’re just now about to close on our 2nd deal. So, the most challenging thing for us would be learning patience and having a consistent business.

We are your favorite Realtors! We are known as The Rodgers Group under VIVO Realty. Alex and I work with Buyers, Sellers, Investors, and Developers in all of their real estate ventures. Whether it’s buying a dream home or leasing the perfect apartment, we will get it done. Our clients love that we work together as a team to assist them during this process and that we make it fun! We definitely give all our credit to God. Without Him and trusting in Him, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We have leaned on Him every step of the way, and have prayed and fasted for everything that’s been given to us. Our family has also been very supportive, whether it words of encouragement, advice, or sending clients to us. They believe in us and we don’t want to let them or each other down.
