Today we’d like to introduce you to Kalessia Wallace.
Kalessia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started off as a kitchen hairstylist. I have always had a love for hair, and being a part of the process of making women feel beautiful and confident, I eventually decided to bet on myself by going to cosmetology school to become a licensed hairstylist in 2012. 11 years later with hard work, consistency, and perseverance I am now a Celebrity Hairstylist for the stars.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Absolutely not! I think with anything in life, especially when it comes to running and growing a business, there are many challenges you will face along the way. One of my biggest struggles or challenges were identifying my audience. I made a lot of mistakes in taking on clients and opportunities that were not cohesive to my brand and how I represented myself.

I am Celebrity Hairstylist, a beauty influencer, and a creative. I specialize in custom wigs, working on set for photoshoots, video shoots, movies, and reality television. I am known for creating classy hair for the stars and for red carpet-events. I am so proud of how I’ve been able to still maintain originality with my work in an industry that consistently continues to change and evolve. What sets me apart from others is my ability to execute and create.

Take your time and trust the process. Learn what you need to learn on every level of Entrepreneurship because each level is to prepare you for the next. Write the vision, make it plane, pray, set goals, and execute a little at a time.
