Kaotik, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
With a name like Kaotik, it’s hard to believe that discipline and organization follow but it does. Born Kenneth Louden, Kaotik has come a long way from DJing block parties and house parties. Being an artist himself once and also having partnered on a label previously, Kaotik understands the grind and has since worked with several djs..radio stations and artists. His production skills have landed him an appearance on the coast to coast mixtapes as well as won several beat battles. Truly a jack of all trades. So to support local artists kaotik begin publishing CD’s and DVD’s. With professional quality and presentation, he has now become one of the most sought after music minds in Texas.
Kaotik is now the overseer and advisor for KMG (Kaotiktrax Music Group) in which he passed the CEO chair to artist Absolut in 2019. He also serves as the driving force behind Murdah Mami Movement, a hiphop female support movement in which his artist Absolut heads as well as artist Colt Gee. To continue to soar as an engineer/producer, he has invested in Industry Wave Studio previously Kaotiktrax Studio. There, Kaotik performs recording, mixing, mastering, cd duplication as well as some light artist development. Kaotik via Industry Wave Studio has presented Truth In The Booth, which served as an artist platform to sharpen writing skills—hence making him a one-stop shop in many ways. Kaotik. Mr. KMG. Kaotiktrax is all one man but with several hats. A salute is definitely in order.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth but it has it rewards. I’ve encountered artists that I was willing to help but they were not willing to learn. Many whom I’ ve helped go on to new things with no thank you. That bothers me but also motivates me to help the appreciative.
Please tell us about your work.
I am a producer who engineers. I mix and master music to have that industry quality. I also do cd distribution for the artist.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I believe that my drive, dedication, focus and loyalty have all been keys to my success.
