Kaylah , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started 6 years ago with just a thought I’d like to say a vision from God. It was something random that ended up turning into a passion. I’ve always been driven and a hustler so whatever i touch i know won’t fail so i stepped into barbering and I’ve been excelling ever since i also think content plays a big role in my success everyone seems to love my personality. Hard work consistency and dedication is how i got to where i am
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not always smooth as a woman in the beginning i got a lot of slack for being a woman in a male driven industry. But after about a year now im a household name in my city.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m KaylahTheBarber a household name in my city i bring great haircuts along with wisdom and great conversation. I specialize in all things hair. I’m most known for creating content at work along side cutting of course
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Mr.Ben Heath is my mentor and has been my entire barbering career he seen something in me in barber school that i didn’t even see in myself at the time. Pushed me and taught me everything i know about this game and even to this day we’ll sit on the phone or at his school and just talk about ways to make me better and continue growing my business
