Today we’d like to introduce you to Keisha Solomon.
Keisha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
25 years ago, I was director of Admissions of a vocational school in Florida. It was a very comfortable position I had been in for quite some time. One day I came to work and there were chains on the doors with an eviction notice. I was in a panic at first but I knew I never wanted to be in a position where someone else had that much control over my life. After trying door to door sales for a while, I started an online store selling home decor back in 1997 to help pay for my college courses in Computer Science. Web Design was a minor I had taken and I quickly realized I was pretty good at hard coding websites. Realizing I was getting a lot of traffic and very little sales for my products, I started engaging my audience and found that they were just admiring my website, not the products.
One day, a visitor turned out to be head of a cancer research facility and the center became my first client. That’s when I knew web development would be one of the things I’d want to do for the rest of my life. Since then, I’ve learned video editing, animation, graphic design and online marketing which is all now offered under EVOBRAND Marketing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With 21 years under my belt, I’ve seen more than my share of ups and downs. I’ve had many sleepless nights, skipped meals and refused a lot of invitations to enjoy myself but I would do it all over again. I have relocated my business across the states several times trying to find the perfect market. 11 years ago, I made Dallas my home and it’s been smooth sailing ever since!

We are constantly expanding our services to meet the needs of business owners. Technology is constantly evolving and we try our very best to keep up as any marketing company should. This is where the EVOBRAND name comes from, the evolution of branding.
