Today we’d like to introduce you to Kello, Maria, and Erik Zach-Aman.
Kello, Maria, and Erik, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Dallas Best Cleaning Services (DBCS) is a small, family owned business. Like most small businesses, we started out of necessity. Our youngest son, Khalil, is a Type 1 Diabetic who was diagnosed at the age of 7 (he’s 12 now). Due to the nature of this chronic disease, it’s very unpredictable and there are many late and sleepless nights for both Khalil and his parents. The first few years we both missed so many days of work because of his illness! That’s when we decided we had to do something about it. We needed more flexibility with our schedules so we could get to Khalil when necessary. That’s where the idea of DBCS was born! This way one of us is always available to Khalil no matter what. It sounds a little unconventional, but this has really provided a way for our family to bring in an income and also take care of the medical needs of our son. It’s been a true blessing!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
While starting a cleaning business is one of the least expensive start-up businesses, we’ve had our trials and tribulations. In fact we are still learning. We have had to go out and FIND our customers! That is a challenging task but rewarding task. While cleaning seems like mindless work to many, we don’t see it that way at all. We pride ourselves on making sure our customers are happy! We are very blessed to have AMAZING clients! We’ve built a solid customer base and continue to strive to grow and make ourselves better.

We specialize in professional carpet cleaning, move-in/move-outs, commercial and residential cleanings. We believe what sets us apart from the others is our desire to make sure our clients are 100% satisfied and also our commitment to excellence. While it’s impossible to please everyone, our goal is to certainly try! We continue to be blessed and are proud of the service we provide to our customers.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are looking to expand our carpet cleaning services as well the commercial side of our cleaning business. Marketing is an area we’re still growing and learning more about. We are learning how to better use the internet and social media to market our business.
