Meet Kelly Byrne of Forever Young Chiropractic in Flower Mound

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Byrne.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I decided to go to Chiropractic school after having my own life changing experience with chiropractic. I was having headaches all day every day due to a car accident I was in. After getting chiropractic care my headaches went away. I then started working at that office as an assistant and was blown away by the changes it made in people’s lives. I always knew I wanted to work in the medical field and have a pediatric specialty. The first time I saw I baby get adjusted after birth I knew this was the field for me. I completed Chiropractic school as well as the yearlong pediatric certification. I have been practicing now for 8 years and love what I do just as much today as I did day one, if not more so. I don’t only see children, I love being able to safely see whole families.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Chiropractic school is medical school squished into 3 years. It is a very intense program, but was worth every bit of struggle along the way to be able to do what I do now. Recently I have decided to start an office with a colleague of mine. Though it has been exciting and fun, there are a lot of struggles that come up while opening a new business.

Please tell us about Forever Young Chiropractic.
Our company, Forever Young Chiropractic, is a full family based office. Both myself and my business partner have specialties in Pediatrics and Pregnancies. But we also love adjusting adults as well. We love being able to see the whole family. We also have specialties in cranial reshaping work. When a child has a flat spot we are able to help the cranial bones move back the proper position which clears up the flat spot, instead of them having to where the helmet for 23 hours a day. What sets us apart, other than our specialties, is the passion we have for what we do. I absolutely love helping people get their bodies back to functioning at their best potential.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I can honestly say I wouldn’t do anything differently. I love what I do, it really doesn’t even feel like work to me. I am really glad I got the opportunity to work for someone else for several years and am now really excited about things moving forward with my own office.
