Meet Keyaira Saunders of Kaydeis Photography in Southern Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keyaira Saunders.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Keyaira. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I find it to supremely amazing how we as human beings have been able to capture moments in time. As long as I can remember, I have always been fond of cameras. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words; however, a thousand words are not enough to articulate the thrill I get in bringing the most favorable moments to a complete sense of foreverness by the click of my camera.

Nevertheless, the most amazing thing is how the unpredictability’s of life allows our most challenging moments to evolve into the things that can actually be the foundation of our callings. For it was the time when I got fired from my job that things begun to unfold for me.

As a young mother, It was a devastating time in my life and I know I had to stay focused and provide for my family. But I could not imagine having to leave my newborn son, and getting back into the corporate routine.

I started taking pictures of my children with my cell phone and posting them on my social media sites. I enrolled myself into YouTube university,(started learning from experts on YouTube), networked with local photographers, assisted other photographers on shoots, most importantly I remain humble and teachable.

My business is even more successful than I ever imagined, just think, it all started by being in an uncomfortable situation, having faith and by utilizing the everyday things I had available to me to create magic!

Basically, life will give you what you deserve, even when people won’t. Hard work and dedication is just small components of the journey, it is not the success that is most gratifying aspect of the journey, it’s the journey in itself that God gives us to ponder upon, from the basement of our hearts to the balcony of our mind. No matter how small we may appear, we are still part of the whole.

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road at all!! The struggle was absolutely real! But, the struggle is what moves me to be what I need to be in order rise up from the quicksand of doubt to the solid ground of faith. Let no your struggle be counted as obstacles, the struggle sometimes necessary to build character to appreciate a glorious end.

What do you do? What do you specialize in?
I am the Master Photographer, for a Photography business I own. I specialize in timeless portraits (high-quality professional headshots, special occasions and social media marketing) I offer luxurious quality work for affordable rates to ensure that people have portraits to pass down for generations to come. Every picture that I take has my unique Kaydeis signature look. It is designed for people to instantly recognize my work when they see it.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Quality photos will be always Be in high demand for a lifetime! Technology is growing so rapidly allowing us to have access to a better quality at our fingertips. To stay successful in this industry we have to always be open for change and looking for creative ideas to express our art.
