Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began as actually starting a graphic T-shirt business when I first started my business, Lipstick Khroniclez, in 2017. The shirts were intended to be a female inspired and ultimately empowered T-shirt line offering my very own urban yet motivational quotes on them. It was a hit! However, my deep passion was in makeup and beauty products while still empowering women. I have lived for lipgloss and lippie products since I can remember, LOL, so I wanted to incorporate my make-up artist expertise with creating my very own products. That’s how the lipgloss addition started with Lipstick Khroniclez, which offers an all-organic vegan-based, handmade, made to order lipgloss… I know this is a healthier option to lip care! I now offer lipgloss, lip/face oil & wholesale lipgloss supplies… and still expanding!!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely been a rollercoaster. Starting in business requires dedication, additional time and discipline. While working my 9-5 in non-profit, I still had to juggle forming ideas for my business while keeping up to date with social media metrics and marketing. I had to tune in on business marketing videos, as well as stay engaged with my audience. I love the message behind my brand…”Female Empowerment Beauty.” My mission is for women to feel pretty, but ultimately be inspired when wearing my products.

My work background is in education. I started as elementary education and then transitioned into adult education and training. In all I do, I love to empower others I encounter feel encouraged to accomplish their goals. This motivates me as well and I use my professional experience to keep me intact with keeping and maintaining rapport with my clients/customers. Currently, I work in non-profit-seeking talent and matching low-income clients with job training programs as well as community resources in the DFW community.

I love FOOD, well I don’t know if that is a surprise LOL. I am a huge foodie and enjoy trying and visiting different restaurants and/or sharing foods with other cultures. I guess that is my empowering nature of connecting with others in me!
