Hi Kofo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Goodie Bags Station was founded in October 2022. It all started from planning my first son’s birthday party. He was turning 2 years old. And I was excited to put a Jurassic Theme party for him. The thrill of ensuring that my son had the best party and treats for friends was the assignment. While designing party favors and personalizing each goodie bags, I realized that I enjoyed every second of it. The day of my son’s party the cake designer complimented how beautiful the goodie bags are and suggested that I turn it in to a business. Ever since that day I have learned and advanced in the party favors business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course a lot of businesses go through ups and downs in the first few years of launching or starting a business. Which I have experienced, When I first started my business it was difficult to get clients and bookings. I remember spending so much money on promotional ads on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to gain traffic into my social media Goodie_Bags_Station page. But I quickly noticed that personal referrals helped my business succeed.
Once, I became intentional about the kind of services I provided and explaining it during consultation with my clients I saw a significant difference in my business. Being determined, diligent, and oriented in any business during difficult time has its benefits in how the business thrive.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Firstly, I studied Occupational Therapy in college. But once in the field, I quickly realized the career wasn’t for me. I am a tech gal!! I admired Information Technology, in which I switched my career to IT Analyst professional with concentration in Cybersecurity and Implementation. I have been a Senior IT analyst for over 7 years and I love what I do. I’m known for my professionalism and attention to details in all the roles I have successfully occupied.
Two of the areas I specialize in are Reviewing and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Also, contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Business Execution deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
My proud moment will always be seeing my clients delighted with my work and services.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
1. Don’’t ever talk yourself out of an idea you have.
2. Find ways to manifest your skills and idea to generate passive incomes.
3. Giving up should not be an option whenever your objective doesn’t go as planned.
4. Never get intimidated by other businesses’s success but get encouraged. Learn as much as you can about the business you’re looking to startup, do your research on what customers are looking for in your service and products.
