Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Relja.
Kristina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was working at the World Trade Center as an exhibitor for the Dallas Market – where boutique shoppers buy products wholesale for their store. It hit me that I belonged on the other side as a buyer and not a seller.
Shortly after, I established my brand and brought together pieces that would best represent me and my style. From there, my online boutique, Estella Collection, was created.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth sailing for the most part. The hardest thing for me was mustering up the courage to actually launch! I had everything ready for a few months but really needed the push from my friends and family to get going. I was so happy when I officially launched and realized I had nothing to worry about!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Estella Collection – what should we know?
Estella Collection is an online store that specializes in women’s fashion. Since starting up two months ago, we are only focused on accessories – dainty gold and silver jewelry. I can’t wait until we grow more asa company and start pushing into apparel and hand bags! I think that our unparalleled customer service and responsiveness sets us apart from other boutiques.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
It’s mostly a one-man show as for the website and products, but my mother has been the biggest motivator and cheerleader! She pushed me to open the store and is always sending me texts and emails on how to improve or add little details that can be missed when looking at the bigger picture. My friends also constantly hype me up on social media when they post about the brand so it’s really helpful (and thoughtful) for exposure!
