Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kyla and DeVon Lang. Kyla and DeVon was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Veronica Sanders.
Hi Kyla and DeVon, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
We met in Houston 10 years ago now at a mutual friends birthday party. We really bonded over our love of movies and similar family background— the rest is history. We have so much in common that it I’m convinced it’s preordained and we’re incredibly thankful.
Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
DeVon: I work in the financial services industry. I really enjoy learning about different businesses and industries and how they add value in the broader economy. I learn something new every day and that’s exciting. At the end of the day, I’m passionate about helping business owners create enterprise value and position them to generate wealth for them and their families. Kyla: I work in the software industry focused on sales operations. I love figuring out solutions for my stakeholders and improving processes. I make their lives easier.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Design with Veronica Sanders and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Design with Veronica Sanders.
We learned of Veronica through a referral of an interior designer we used in Houston. After our first interior design experience we were sold on it and new we had to do the same for our new home in Dallas. We had a wonderful experience with our friend/designer in Houston and trusted her recommendation so we reached out to Veronica.
We have different styles and without assistance we would end up in a stalemate and take longer than necessary to design our home. Working with Veronica has been great as she’s able to take elements of our personal tastes and meld it into something that both of us love.
The experience has been fantastic, she’s prompt to respond, hears our concerns/feedback and incorporates that into the design. Most of all, she’s patient! Working with couples with such different design aesthetics can’t be easy but she does a wonderful job . Install day is our fav, we’ve been thrilled by the way our rooms have turned out— it’s even better than we expected. Would highly recommend her to others.
