Meet Larisa Love

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larisa Love.

Larisa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born in Ukraine Kiev. Won the visa lottery when I was 6.

Moved to the states.

Loved art of any kind.

Got licenses at 21 and opened up an Instagram. Was one of the first hair artists to be on Instagram.

Was booked out for 2 years in advance.

CosmoProf asked me to be their brand ambassador. Worked with all brands and traveled with all.

Few heads later joico asked me to be their brand ambassador and have been with them ever since.

Opened up a salon when I was 27 then moved locations 3 years ago for a more boutique salon because I travel a lot. I travel the world doing hair education. I’m doing a North American tour in March that sold out the 1st day. 22 states.

Doing one in fall as well.

🙂

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any success has obstacles. Traveling and owing a salon with a team was difficult because I was a missing owner & leader so that’s why I moved to a boutique-style salon where it’s just me and my assistants. But having a bigger salon taught me a lot on preparation for the next salon.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in color & big transformations. I’m most proud of becoming brand ambassador for such a big company & doing a huge show in 2022 in Sweden of 5000 people.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Bring authentic & not afraid of change or being different.

Pricing:

  • Haircut $150
  • Color starts at $400-$15000 depending on length, thickness & inspiration.
