Latina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was tired of losing good paying jobs due to not having consistent childcare. I wanted to do something I enjoyed doing that allowed me to manage my own schedule and more time with my babies but also profitable. Two things I love doing most is cooking and cleaning so I decided to go into the residential cleaning business which I have over 15 years of experience. So I decided to resign from my job April 12 went and filed DBA, got insured, made flyers and started going door to door from Dallas to Fort Worth. After about 1 month I was bringing in a day what I was bringing in per week working for someone else.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been far from smooth. There were times I wanted to give up and wondered if I made a mistake about given up my job. Slow days equals slow money or no money and we still had bills to pay. I tried hiring cleaners so that I could concentrate on the Admin side of things to keep the business coming in but to no avail so I’ve had to go back to the drawing board a few times to get it right.

SASIS is a residential and commercial cleaning company that provides and specializes in services such as:

We are known mostly for the Quality of our work. We Strive to Exceed the Expectation of our clients!!! Our Slogan is “Sweeping Away Stress In Style”. What sets me apart from others is I absolutely LOVE what I do. It’s just not a job to me it’s a Lifestyle I enjoy meeting new people and encouraging others to go after their dreams as well.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define Success as simply setting a goal and accomplishing it. No matter how small no matter the reason. No matter how foolish it may sound to someone else. SUCCESS is finding your WHY? Figuring out WHAT? It takes. Motivating yourself!!!
