Lauren, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Prior to founding Elle McCall, I spent my weekends volunteering for The Humane Society of North Texas. I have loved animals, especially dogs, all my life.
As a dog mom, I saw a need in the market for trusting, personable, and professional care I expect for my own fur babies. So, I decided to focus my efforts on building a brand for pets and their owners. Last year, I left my corporate career to pursue this dream and I have never looked back. Elle McCall gives me the opportunity to learn so much in business as we grow and add to our brand and services.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every day as an entrepreneur is a challenge. It’s not for everyone. It takes a certain level of dedication, risk-taking, and courage! I have big dreams, high expectations, and a drive to succeed in everything I do. However, our rapid success did come as a surprise to me. I started this business with many long term dreams but realistic short term expectations. I was prepared to work this as a side hustle to other efforts as we started to build. But within two weeks of our launch, I was able to dedicate myself full time to Elle McCall! This was incredible and I am so grateful that it took off so quickly.
My biggest challenge is facing the limits I set on myself. We have many plans to grow this brand beyond the services we currently provide, it’s only a matter of time in making it happen.

Elle McCall provides superior quality service and love for your pets and the utmost convenience in care. We send live updates every time we visit your pet, including photos with GPS tracking that lets our clients know where we walked their dog and for how long.
Our brand is specifically tailored to dog moms who deserve exceptional service, and a lifestyle that includes their pets. We believe your fur babies deserve all the love and care in the world.
I am most proud of Elle McCall’s dedication to supporting local rescues. We take a percentage of all proceeds and donate to local shelters to help homeless pets in need of a forever home.
We truly love and care for each of the fur babies we meet and I can honestly say that our clients are like family to us. This personable service combined with our transparent technology truly sets us apart from the competition.
We are soon to be opening an online people and pet boutique and we are currently in the process of franchising Elle McCall Pet Sitting to expand our service area. I am very excited about our growth.

I’d say so! I feel incredibly lucky to have a business and life partner who supports me and works hard to make us successful with our app and website. The professionalism of our online presence has really given Elle McCall an edge above the competition and for that I am so grateful to him for making this possible.
I also feel so lucky to have such an amazing tribe of women who support me and my business. Success in business is all about relationships and we would be nothing without the connections we have made with other Dog Moms. Women in business supporting one another is powerful and I will never underestimate it.
