Today we’d like to introduce you to Layllen Sawyerr.
Layllen Sawyerr has gone on a journey around the world and discovered the one thing she was looking for, she already possessed. Once we learn that love starts within, we stop looking for love and happiness in all the wrong places. She is a John Maxwell Certified Coach and international motivational speaker. CEO of Layleverage Group. She is originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. She grew up in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. Layllen has and an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Masters in Project Management. As a child, she always knew there was more. She always believed she had a bigger purpose. She always had a burning desire to listen, motivate, and empower others. Her motto: “Dare to go beyond what your very eyes can see.” Every day is a reminder that anything is possible with hard work and persistence. Every day she awakes with the intent and mindset to conquer and fulfill her purpose.
Has it been a smooth road?
I learned at a young age that obstacles come in all shapes and sizes. My biological mother did not raise me, and it created doubt and low self-esteem. I focused on self-love and changing my mindset. This was the stepping stone to my self-development journey. I have used this as a tool to empower others worldwide to be resilient while going after their dreams.

I have fourteen plus years of management, training, coaching, and corporate experience. I’m passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and sharing my journey of travel while collaborates with brands. I host women’s empowerment seminars that teach you how to clarify your message, learn how to capture your audience, and monetize your brand by first embracing self-love.
I have hosted events, collaborated with top brands, trained individuals, and consulted with companies to help bring their message to life. I am known for my world travels, positive morning messages, and self-development books.
I am most proud of my ability to change my mindset in order to change my life. I inspire others daily to love themselves first, get out of their own way and go after what they want. This has helped set me apart from others. I believe we are all running our own race and each day, the goal is to strive to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Dallas is the perfect place to be for both business and personal. I grew up here, and it’s part of the reason I wanted to grow my business here and do my part to be the change I wish to see. I would recommend Dallas because it has a lot of opportunities but also is small enough to build intimate relationships.
