Today we’d like to introduce you to Lea Zachry.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
In December 2016, my entire department was eliminated and rather than trying to find another job working for someone else, I decided to start a photo booth rental company (at the suggestion of my wife, Laurie, who had been to recent functions where photo booths were very popular).
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The ride has been very exciting. Far from smooth, it has been more like a ride at Six Flags with similar results…fun, fear, thrills and surprises on every trip.
My two biggest challenges have been the marketing experience, which is done primarily through internet search engines, and the technology behind the photo booth operation.
Every venue is different and rarely do you find everything textbook perfect for your set up. Blessed are the flexible, because we don’t get bent out of shape.
Please tell us about This Moment In Time DFW Photo Booth Rental.
I am the sole proprietor of our photo booth company. My wife assists me with many of the actual events.
We make our booth rental service available for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, reunions, personal parties…literally any event that wants to add the fun and entertainment value of a photo booth.
I am very proud of the product we offer. The picture quality is excellent. The props are well made and look great in photos. The technology behind the booth is first class.
I hope our participation sets us apart. Our presence at the event is one of service.
We are not there to just make sure the printer works and the lighting is correct. We want everyone entering our booth to feel great about their experience.
From the initial contact to the closing invoice, we focus on making this a great experience for the customer. We realize that whether this is a wedding day celebration, a Quinceaneras celebration, retirement party or a number of other occasions, this is a very special day for our customer and guests and we want them to know we will do whatever we need to in order to add value to their event.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have done more homework on internet marketing and had a better approach in place on day one.
