Leah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In early 2012 I was working as a Home Loan Officer and I had just bought my 12 year old son and I our first home. I immediately had to figure out a way to balance the expenses of our new life. My son was excelling in academics and sports and I quickly realized it would take more than a single-parent income for us to thrive in this world and keep our new home. I had to make a change to better our future. Then, I met my now business partner at Tax Time and Financial Services through a mutual friend.

My business partner and I immediately learned each others strengths and started to build from there. We knew networking was definitely the key to our success. Networking was a challenge for me due to the long days of my full-time job and also maintaining motherly duties. I had to motivate myself and think of the best way to use the resources at my fingertips to gain clients in need of tax services. I began to advertised/market the company in the DFW metroplex. I researched people facing big tax evasion and contacted them to gain their business. Every contact I had stored in my cell phone via phone number to social media account  I made them aware of the Tax Time and Financial Services.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not a walk in park! The first day of tax season my truck stopped running but I was determined not to let this stop my hustle. I may not have transportation but I had a cell phone and mindset to succeed, so with those tools, I used it to my advantage.

Tax Time And Financial Services has been providing individual and business tax preparation, tax audits, tax amendments, business consultation and planning accounting, account auditing, bookkeeping and financial advising to DFW for (number of years). We have now expanded to service investments, life insurance and retirement accounts. We now have three locations in DFW. Our clients trust us because we go over and above to make sure their needs are met to satisfaction. We are proud of our high ratings online and with the Better Business Bureau.

Well, I’m born and raised in Dallas so I have nothing but love for the big city and surroundings.
