Today we’d like to introduce you to Leesa Epperson.
Leesa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My story began a few years ago when I joined a MLM company and started my own business. During this journey, I learned to dream bigger and to go for things I’m passionate about and with the extra income I was making in my MLM business, I was able to do just that. So I went back to school and got my real estate license and I haven’t looked back. Against all the odds of not originally being from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I knew in my heart it would take more hustle than the average realtor. I put my faith in God and hit the ground running and ever since, I have been helping families sell and buy homes.
I didn’t get into the industry to make money. I got into the industry because I fell in love with it. I fell in love with homes, the character each one had, and the beautiful people I get to help transition from one to another. I fell in love with hearing people’s stories, really getting to know their needs for their futures, and focusing on ensuring they find a home that meets those future goals. Real estate can be a stressful thing, moving out of a home my clients have known for years can be hard, and it can be harder if they don’t have someone to partner with who doesn’t take the time to understand that.
Has it been a smooth road?
In the business of real estate, you will always have challenges to get through. No two clients are the same and no two transactions are the same. Some homes take more time to prepare to sell, so my team and I can get it sold for top dollar. The market is ever-changing and we don’t know from month to month how the market can shift and change. I keep my faith in God to guide not only myself but my team as our clients lean on us to get them through an exciting but stressful time in their lives.
Please tell us about your business.
My business goes beyond the professionalism I can bring to the table, my knowledge about our local market and communities, and past the number of sales I’ve made thus far. Instead, it prioritizes my clients. How much can they afford? What motivates their move? What do they HAVE to have to make this big transition in their life? My clients need a real estate agent who understands that and seeks to know the answer to those questions, and all of the other important ones that make buying and selling a reality for them. My team and I specialize in residential single-family properties. Whether you are a first time home buyer, upgrading, downgrading or looking to invest, we are here to guide you along the way. We also specialize in leasing. Once we have helped our clients lease, we continue to work with them on their goal toward home ownership.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Fort Worth is an amazing city. There is so much to do and see such as zoos, state of the art museums, many unique restaurants and entertainment districts. Fort Worth has an affordable cost of living and has wide open spaces. You can choose to live in town or find a quiet little town on the outskirts and enjoy country living.
