Meet Leeza Libershteyn of Leeza’s Browtique in Uptown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leeza Libershteyn.

Leeza, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My story as an esthetician and a spa owner starts back in 90’s, when I was just learning my way around the United States, being new to its customs and language. This was a starting point for me, young and ambitious, I began dreaming of an esthetic career, not knowing yet how much it will change my life. Next, comes the language barrier that will delay it for a few years and then finally the school. After that, comes the tough reality of being a freshman to the industry with a bitterness of rejections and continuous overtime hours. Several years later with seven days a week, sometimes 12 hours a day working two jobs, I came to a point where I was ready to take my knowledge to a next step and start my own esthetic business. It was a scary and a very exciting time for me, being a single mom, I was putting all of my passion into my own business, not knowing for sure if I would make it or not. And there I was, building my dream as Leeza’s Spa owner, which was my original name of the spa, and slowly transforming it into loyal established skin care business. And not until two years later, when I came to a decision, I was becoming a specialty salon.

Eyebrows! I had discovered my love for them much earlier, that’s when I realize how much joy I would get just by reshaping my client’s eyebrows. I have to say, that was a big concern to some of my colleagues. “Are you sure this is a good idea to limit yourself to just eyebrows?”, I was hearing. But for me it was a no-brainer, I believed that if you are passionate about something, it will be a success. In 2015, Leeza’s Spa transforming into Leeza’s Browtique and starts its big role in Dallas beauty business as a Dallas’ premier eyebrow artistry. Today, four years later and 500 loyal clients, I have never stopped believing that if you want something hard enough, it will happen.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anytime we start a new business, it would take us time and some extra hard work to build it. There were days with no business at all and of course with some worries. When it comes to a beauty business, it is very personal and it takes some time to earn someone’s trust and loyalty, especially in the industry of so many competitors.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Leeza’s Browtique – what should we know?
I am a skin care specialist, I do facials, waxing, but my main specialty are eyebrows. It includes eyebrow wax, eyebrow tint and eyebrow Microblading. Doing eyebrows is very natural to me, I love the feeling of creating a better shape or, as we say a frame for the eyes. Being a focal point of today’s fashion, eyebrow’s services started to boom in Dallas and especially the Microblading technic. I am very proud to be trained by PhiBrows Microblading Academy and to be able to offer the highest quality, natural eyebrows on the market.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I think what helped me, was: cleanliness, always being on time and consistency.
